4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Give water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious patient. Seek medical assistance.

Eye contact: Irrigate with copious quantities of water for 15 minutes. In all cases of eye contamination it is a sensible precaution to seek medical advice.

Skin contact: Wash contaminated skin with plenty of water or polyethylene glycol. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use. If irritation occurs seek medical advice.

Inhalation: Immediately move victim to fresh air. Keep at rest until fully recovered. If breathing laboured give oxygen through facemask. Seek medical advice if shortness of breath persists.

Notes to physician: Treat symptomatically.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Specific hazards: Poses no unusual fire or explosive hazards.

Fire fighting further advice: Water may be used to cool containers involved in fire.

Suitable extinguishing media: Water fog (or if unavailable fine water spray), foam or dry agent (carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder).

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Evacuate the spill area, as floor may be slippery. Use absorbent inert solid such as china clay, transfer to heavy-duty containers.

Rinse floor thoroughly to remove all traces of product.

Dispose of through specialist chemical waste disposal contractor. Comply with local, state and federal regulations. For small containers, rinse well with water and dispose of in household waste.

Storage: Store in opaque containers away from extreme heat and sunlight. Material may separate upon standings, shake or mix well before using.
